Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation

From their website:

This is us

It’s estimated that a female has a 1 in 23 risk of developing a gynae cancer by the age of 85.  What’s more, 32% of women diagnosed with a gynae cancer will not survive more than 5 years.  These statistics are staggering and we’re here to do something about it.

We are the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation (AGCF).  A national not-for-profit organisation that focuses on funding laboratory research into all 8 gynae cancers.  In fact, we’re the only organisation that focuses on all 8 gynae cancers.  Why?  Because we want to look after all our lady parts.

We provide research grants to Australia’s best and brightest medical brains, so they can find new ways to screen, treat, and conquer gynae cancers.

Just as important, we work together with other cancer organisations, to make sure women are armed with ample knowledge and information.

We have a strong team behind us, all working toward a common goal.

Together, we’re giving women hope.
