From their website:
Our mission at Teal Toes is to raise awareness about ovarian cancer. You can help start a conversation – and have fun! – by painting your toenails teal, the ovarian cancer color. Invite your friends to paint their toenails teal too, and then talk with people when they ask about it, to make sure everyone knows the subtle signs. Early diagnosis dramatically improves outcomes and saves lives.
Any time of year is good for teal toes, but we especially recommend September, the ovarian cancer awareness month!
When people ask you about your teal toes, tell them about ovarian cancer and give them a symptom card to keep or pass along. Teal Toes symptom cards are business-card size and state, simply and clearly, the ovarian cancer symptoms. Send us a note and we’ll send you our symptom cards free of charge.
